You asked, Xetum listened: New Tyndall PVD Carbon Limited Edition

Xetum Tyndall Limited Edition

Jeff Kuo, driving force behind the Californian brand, is considered a friend of Monochrome and a generally super-nice guy. Naturally, when he approached to inform us about the upcoming Xetum timepiece, we were eager to find out more. After the reviewed Kendrick (see here) and Tyndall (see here), we would like to introduce you to the Xetum Tyndall PVD Carbon Limited Edition.

Ever since the Tyndall and Stinson were released, Xetum could count on a strong following. Their first (and last for that matter) limited edition watch was released back in 2011 and was part of the Tyndall-line-up. For this second Xetum L.E., Jeff and his team have listened to the cries of the public and combined the PVD Tyndall case with the carbon fiber dial. Naturally you can find the individual numbers of each piece on the backside of the watch. Normally you see the individual numbers on the caseback, or on the movement but Xetum decided to deviate from that by engraving it into the rotor.

Dimensions of the new Tyndall PVD Carbon Limited Edition remain the same, we’re not going to bother you with things you already know. The models are built with care and attention and feature some strong design cues. Just look at the two “rings” round the case, to turn it from bland to appealing. The hexagonal crown, though not unique in the industry, gives the Xetum line-up a very own look.

The Tyndall PVD Carbon Fiber Limited Edition will be limited to just 300 pieces, each individually numbered. There is a chance to pre-order one of the first 75 Tyndall PVD Carbon L.E. pieces by sending an email to [email protected]. The previous Limited Edition came with the same carbon fiber dial but in a steel case and was available in a run of just 100 pieces.
