Introducing the Christopher Ward C9 Harrison BIG Day-Date Automatic

Christopher Ward C9 Harrison Big Day Date

We have a bit of a weak spot for Christopher Ward’s most premium models, the Harrison Collection. That’s because these models share a similar clean and masculine design, and always feature a special movement complication created Christopher Ward’s own Master Watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke. The newest model features a BIG day and date, and is called the Christopher Ward C9 Harrison Big Day-Date Automatic.

The C9 Harrison Big Day-Date is powered by a modified ETA 2836-2 automatic movement. It now features a really big day and date indication, which are both visible through an aperture in the dial at the 3 o’clock position. The C9 Harrison Big Day-Date comes, like the C9 Jumping Hour Mk.II and the C900 Worldtimer, in a stainless steel 43 mm large case that is hand-polished. And the price… is very competitive!

The C9 Harrison Big Day-Date comes at a retail price of 650 GBP (or €790 Euro / $899 USD), which is impressive, especially considering the modifications on the movement to create the oversized day-date. The design is very clean and masculine, which is, together with the price level, for us the convincing argument.
